Visit to the Consulate

Today, we had the privilege of visiting the U.S. Consulate here in Australia! After that visit, we engaged in a scavenger hunt that took us all over the city. At the consulate, we learned about the political and economic climate of Australia, as well as how Australia and America interact on various levels. To be honest, I never knew how close-knit our countries were! The visit to the consulate was a very eye-opening experience.
After this visit to the consulate, we embarked on a 3-hour long scavenger hunt around Melbourne. Our adventure took us to bars, cafes, the Etihad Stadium, the library, and even a restaurant under a bridge! It was an awesome way to get acquainted with the city, and we had a great time. Loving Melbourne so far!
