Our last day...

Today is our final day in Australia. The past couple of weeks have been long and eventful. It is fitting that our final day is a free day to wonder the city for one last time. I personally took a trip to the Australian Stock Exchange to see where trading happens. The financial district in Sydney is spread out across a few streets. It is far different than the Wall Street that America is used to. Unfortunately, we were unable to find a tour due to our American citizenships.

However, seeing the exchange was a fun experience in itself. We spent the rest of the afternoon exploring the city one last time; taking visits to our favorite locations and snapping final photographs.

The end of the trip was punctuated with dinner at a restaurant that provides customers with manicures during the meal. At first, all the men said why not and grabbed their numbers to wait in line. When the time came, however, no male found it in them to get their nails done. It was a great dinner provided by the Ormsbees. Upon getting back to the hotel, we all decided to get a good night’s rest in prep for the long, tiring, tedious trip home in front of us.
