Pre-trip preparations...

Everyone is doing last minute preps for the trip to Singapore and then on to Sydney. Bangkok has been an interesting experience! I think we picked excellent locations to illustrate the theme of our trip to the students - "East meets West". Bangkok truly embodies life in Southeast Asia, Singapore should prove to be an interesting transition to a more wealthy and affluent society, and Sydney... well, lets face it, I am a bit jaded when it comes to Sydney. It truly epitomizes city life in Australia.

We will also get the chance to experience some of the edge of the Outback on our day trip into the Blue Mountains next week. The journey continues - stay tuned for some stories from Singapore and then daily updates once we arrive and get settled in Australia!
